Angela Shope combines her love of painting and drawing with porcelain ceramics. She is a utilitarian ceramic artist and fine Artist exhibiting paintings and ceramics both locally and nationally. It was a delight for her to be recognized as a favorite emerging artist when she first began exhibiting in Lancaster, Pennsylvania where she was born and raised. Angela received her BA in Fine Arts from Millersville University, Millersville PA and attended Chautauqua Institution of Art in Chautauqua NY. Angela has been an artist in residence for painting and also for ceramics at Millersville University. Currently, she is a self employed artist and resides in Lancaster, PA. Over the years she has enjoyed art demonstrations at local elementary, middle school and high school events, workshops, gallery shows and traveling the east coast for fine art and fine craft fairs.
